The solutions for the beverage company varied by region. In the U.S. headquarters and print center, the company utilized Ricoh’s White Glove services team with dedicated experts for office and production printing, including implementing CloudStream, a cloud-based platform on all laptops that simplifies print, scan, device management, onboarding, training, and ticket triage, as well as financial printing and communications for bottlers. Larger commercial and wide format printing was outsourced to Ricoh facilities.
The corporate office rightsized the fleet down by 50% to about 300 multifunction printers due to their modern hybrid environment, which also supported the company’s sustainability efforts. Ricoh also got rid of 14 unnecessary servers, which were no longer needed with CloudStream. The team implemented and provided fulfillment for fully automated, secured smart lockers and vending machines for employees to retrieve IT equipment or buy merchandise.
Around the world, locations in 70 countries utilized Rioch’s Managed Print Services (MPS) global contract, while 3 of its regions also contracted for Managed IT Services, including Microsoft 365 licensing, IoT server/wiring, wireless LAN installations, Adobe, bottling company IT desktop management, central service desk with onsite services, break/fix, and PC procurement. They invested in DocuWare for digital document workflows, improving operational efficiency in one of its regions. Stringent Service Level Agreements (SLAs), analytics and reporting are in place to ensure deliverables as promised.
