Ricoh Supplier Diversity Program

Working together to help deserving businesses thrive.

To enhance our commitment to diversity, we developed our Supplier Diversity Program in 2001. It specifically promotes and encourages work with a variety of diverse businesses. We remain committed to it today.

The program helps us enhance the products and services we can offer to customers, while also letting us work with a more diverse supplier pool and support some truly deserving companies.

And for our members, it’s a great opportunity to develop new relationships, expand into different markets, grow your businesses and provide economic benefits to your communities.

Dedicated to Supplier Diversity

Ricoh empowers digital workplaces by transforming information into insights faster and more conveniently than ever before. We create a competitive advantage for more than 1.4 million businesses around the world, including 86% of the U.S. Fortune 500 and 40% of Billion Dollar Roundtable members within the U.S alone.

Diversity and inclusion are cornerstones of Ricoh’s culture and imperative to our ongoing success as today’s leading integrated services provider and partner of choice. We understand that diverse ideas and unique perspectives fuel innovation, but only when proactively included in the conversation and embraced, welcomed, and appreciated for the value they provide. We recognize that by partnering with certified diverse-owned businesses, we become part of a larger solution that helps all organizations thrive and realize greater social and economic success.

At Ricoh, we specifically work to inspire, innovate and grow partnerships with minority-owned, small, small-disadvantaged, women-owned, veteran-owned, disabled-owned, LGBT-owned, and HUB Zone small businesses.

We drive supplier diversity by:

  • Sourcing and promoting the use of diverse suppliers and diverse alliance partners throughout our organization. Cumulatively, between 2018 and 2021, Ricoh purchased goods and services from the following

    • Minority-Owned: $70 million

    • Women-Owned: $120 million

    • Veteran-Owned: $37 million

    • Small Business: $650 million

  • Sponsoring the National Minority Supplier Development Council (NMSDC) Emerging Young Entrepreneur (EYE) program, which supports next-generation minority entrepreneurs.

  • Being an active member of supplier diversity outreach organizations, including the New York/New Jersey Minority Supplier Development Council, Women’s Business Enterprise Council East, Women’s Business Enterprise National Council, and National Gay & Lesbian Chamber of Commerce.

  • Investing in the growth and development of our diverse partners’ businesses through mentoring, network sharing, and thought leadership engagement.

Joining the Supplier Diversity Program

Interested in joining the program? Enrollment is easy.

  • Register and fill out an application below. With fairly straightforward questions, it should take about three to five minutes to complete. We’ll use your answers to determine if your business complements the services and solutions we offer our customers.

  • We’ll send an email within 7 to 10 business days to let you know whether or not you're accepted into the program. If you are, the message will also provide additional information about the program and what you should expect.

  • We'll reach out again when we have any opportunities that would be ideal for your company. Since we have increased our spending on minority and women-owned businesses by 30% since 2010, there could be quite a few ways you can help us out.

Our goal is to continue to increase the amount we spend with diverse companies each year. Interested in being a part of it? Click the button below to apply for the program.
