Take-back program for Desktop Printer/Multi-functional device
For desktop imaging equipment, Ricoh utilizes the provincial recycling processes funded through the Environmental Handling Fee (EHF). Customers should use their local provincial collection programs to recycle Ricoh desktop products.

Recycling programs for floor-standing imaging equipment vary across Canada. Ricoh provides two different take‑back methods to accommodate our customer’s needs.
1. Provinces and territories that have Environmental Handling Fees (EHFs)
In provinces and territories that have Environmental Handling Fees (EHFs) that apply to your floor‑standing imaging equipment, we recommend the use of those provincial recycling programs. Customers should recycle end‑of‑life Ricoh devices through their local provincial electronics recycling collection program.

2. Provinces and territories without a provincial recycling program (EHF)
For provinces and territories without a provincial recycling program (EHF) for floor‑standing imaging equipment—or where your product is excluded due to weight restrictions—and where no local recycling option exists, we offer a shared‑responsibility take‑back program.
To use the Ricoh takeback program the customers are required to coordinate and pay for shipping of their equipment. This includes choosing a transportation provider and handling all related logistics and payment arrangements. If you do not have a preferred transportation company, we can provide contact details so you can request a quote and schedule pickup of your end‑of‑life equipment.
We will assume responsibility and cost for the de-manufacturing and recycling of the returned equipment through an authorized Ricoh recycler.
How to Start a Recycling Request
Email environmentinfo@ricoh.ca with the following information:
Your name, company name and address
Product model number(s) and Serial number(s)
We will provide an RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization) number and the ship‑to address.
***The RMA information must be on the bill of lading that's addressed to the Ricoh designated recycling center.
