Ricoh Unveils the Aficio 1013 and Aficio
1013F Small Workgroup Digital Imaging Systems.
Aficio 1013 and Aficio 1013F Provides
an Economical Solution With Optimal Document Management Capabilities
Toronto, January 28, 2002 – Ricoh Canada, a leading national
provider of the highest quality document and imaging solutions,
today introduced the Aficio 1013 and Aficio 1013F small workgroup
digital imaging systems. Built on Ricoh’s advanced digital
technology, the Aficio 1013 and Aficio 1013F are easy-to-use, expandable
and affordable desktop-based systems for the small corporate workgroup
or office.

Ricoh’s Aficio 1013 and Aficio 1013F features an excellent
combination of digital capabilities and simple operations to ensure
an effortless document management process. Standard technologies
include a Scan Once, Print Many function, which allows users to
scan documents once and reproduce as many copies as necessary.
Recently introduced by Ricoh is an improved, user-friendly control
panel, logically ordered by the functions. The Aficio 1013 and
Aficio 1013F also offers increased productivity with its automatic
document feeding capabilities, which is standard on the Aficio
1013F and optional on the Aficio 1013.
Printer expandability is also a key feature available on the Aficio
1013 and Aficio 1013F
To increase efficiency and provide an economical solution to document
input, management and output in the small workgroup environment.
Such features include an optional print controller for network
printing and legal size printing features to increase versatility
and the ability to print on oversize paper. Also available on the
Aficio 1013F are standard faxing capabilities including, dual access
to scan and store outgoing transmissions while receiving incoming
documents, 33.6 Kbps high-speed connection and high-performance
capabilities such as batch transmission, battery back-up and serial
broadcasting.
