RICOH LAUNCHES THE POSTSCRIPT DRIVER FOR UNIVERSAL PRINT
New Print Driver Increases Efficiency, Allows Users to Minimize Time-Consuming Driver Maintenance
West Caldwell, NJ, January 22, 2009 — Ricoh Americas Corporation, a leading provider of digital office equipment, today announced the release of the Postscript Driver for Universal Print, an expansion to the current universal print driver offering. The Postscript Driver for Universal Print allows users to print to a wide range of Postscript enabled devices without downloading separate drivers for each output device, streamlining driver management for IT administrators.
Ricoh's Postscript Driver for Universal Print provides a single, flexible driver that eliminates the need for product-specific drivers in Postscript environments. Universal drivers reduce time-consuming tasks associated with driver certification for new models and provide end users with a consistent interface across a wide range of supported devices.
