 Ricoh is a charter
member and ardent supporter of the EPA's Energy Star Program, a
voluntary partnership between the EPA and the office equipment
industry. It is the only company to have been named "EPA Imaging
Partner of the Year", and "Overall Office Automation
Partner of the Year" by the US EPA.
The first copier manufacturer to sign the EPA's Energy Star "Memorandum
of Understanding" for copiers promoting energy conservation,
Ricoh continues to advance the programs efforts through technical
consultation and active promotion of the environmental and economic
benefits of using energy more efficiently. Its promotional activities
include the creation of nationally recognized multimedia presentations
about the Energy Star program, originally distributed on CD-ROM
and now posted on the World Wide Web at www.energystarexperience.com
