RDM: Ricoh Document Management
Ricoh Company Ltd. was established in 1936 as an enterprise dedicated to imaging technology. The company ultimately expanded its offering to include document solutions on a global scale, and is currently the number one provider of digital copiers in the world. Ricoh employs more than 74,000 people, posts annual revenue of over $14 billion (US), and has operations in 132 countries.
Ricoh Document Management (RDM) is a subsidiary of Ricoh Canada Inc., and was formed to enable Ricoh to better serve the needs of its customers. As the business environment changed through globalization, the advent of digital technologies, and a corporate focus on reducing non-core costs through outsourcing, Ricoh began investigating new ways of enhancing the value that could be brought to a customer’s business. The mandate was simple: to provide our customers with the most comprehensive suite of document management services available.
To achieve this objective, RDM made significant investments in hardware and software to deliver leading-edge document management solutions. Through the implementation of an electronic workflow and document management infrastructure, RDM has created innovative customer solutions where none were previously envisioned. With production capabilities in North America, Europe, and Asia, we are able to rapidly meet all of our clients’ needs, either on a local, national, or global scale.
